Cheap enough that I bought it as a trial and now I'd buy it again. Quiet motor and the door locks down solid. My kids like watching it open in the morning.

Good door for the price. I'd like a remote on this one too, but for a coop I walk past twice a day it isn't a problem. Solid metal, not the flimsy plastic I had before.

Description
The ChookGate Battery Coop Door opens the coop each morning and shuts it each night on the schedule you set, with no solar panel and no cord. Batteries sit under the lid on top of the door, so there is nothing to wire up.
Fit it to the coop wall with a screwdriver, set the times once, and the door does the rest. The aluminium door slides shut on a toothed rack, so raccoons, foxes and neighbourhood dogs cannot lift it.
