We had a raccoon get two hens last spring so I was nervous. The door closes tight and the girls figured out the schedule in about two days. The remote is handy when I'm on the porch.

Works exactly like it says. Four stars only because the instruction sticker is small and I needed my glasses to set the clock. Once it's set you forget it's there.
The ChookGate Solar Coop Door opens the coop at the time you set each morning and shuts it again at night, on its own, every day. The solar panel keeps it charged, so there is no cord to run and nothing to plug in.
Set the open and close times once on the controller, or press a button on the remote from the back porch. The aluminium door slides shut on a toothed rack, so raccoons, foxes and neighbourhood dogs cannot lift it.
Prefer batteries? The Battery Coop Door is the same door without the panel.
Set the open time and the close time once on the controller. Open or close it any time from the remote or the buttons on the door.
